Vision
The Gwili Railway Company aspires to become a centre of excellence of Welsh railway heritage and to be recognised by customers and stakeholders as a premier Welsh attraction.

Mission
Our mission is to rebuild a sustainable working steam railway between Carmarthen North and Llanpumpsaint. We seek to broaden; develop and enhance the range of facilities available to our passengers and staff, both on-board the train and at our stations.

Aims and Objective

To achieve our mission we strive to:-

Rebuild a sustainable railway between Carmarthen North and Llanpumpsaint.

Own and operate or make available genuine train formations from various eras in Welsh railway history.

Preserve and re-create the original civil engineering for this railway and other railways in Wales. This is to include structures, stations and land formations.

Provide customers with high quality facilities throughout their visitor experience.

Develop a facility to store, preserve and present a wide range of artefacts either belonging to or on loan to the Gwili Railway, in a manner that is accessible to all.

Build restoration facilities which will enable the Gwili Railway to preserve and restore all of its assets and provide opportunities for the preservation of skills and knowledge through training.

Develop innovative and exciting educational products that will appeal to the widest audience (customers and staff).

Develop high quality, value for money hospitality both for the commercial sector and the community as a whole with the nostalgia of steam.

Attract visitors from a wide age; cultural and socio-economic background and to be easily accessible to all.

Make finance available for the sustainable realisation of our Aims and objectives.
