Record breaking year in 2011
The confirmed passenger figures for 2011 are 27,875. This represents our best ever year since trains began running in 1978. It represents a 15% increase on the 2010 total of 23,881.
Said Rob James, the General Manager "this is a very pleasing final total for the year and is reflective of all the hard work of our paid staff an volunteers. Thank you for your support in 2011 and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2012".
